The studio is a handful of hands. No marketing department. No creative director. Just the work, and the people doing it.
We are deliberately small. Not because we lack ambition. Because the size of the team is what lets us answer the email ourselves, decide on the cuff thickness ourselves, fold the first sample ourselves, write the journal entry ourselves.
Most clothing brands are a person with a brief, paying twelve other people to do the work and a marketing agency to dress it up. We didn't want that arrangement. So we made the smallest version of a clothing brand we could think of, and accepted that it would never grow past a handful of people. Because once you grow, the work changes. And the work is the part we like.
