When a drop closes, it closes. The colour doesn't come back. The design doesn't come back. You missed it or you didn't.

Every month a drop runs for thirty days. Then it retires permanently. We don't restock. We don't bring it back as a special edition next autumn. The garment that arrives during that window is the only one of itself that ever existed in the catalogue.

It is not a marketing trick. It is the only honest way the studio gets to keep making new things. One design, one window, one chapter. After that, the studio is busy with the next one.

If you wear a drop garment, you wear something that was made in a specific month, for a specific reason, and was never made again.
