A garment that doesn't ride up when you sit, doesn't cling when you walk, doesn't bunch at the back, is a garment whose cut is doing its job.

You stop noticing your clothes when they fit properly. You start noticing them — adjusting them, pulling them down, tugging them straight — when they don't. The right cut is the one you forget about for the rest of the day.

We chose one cut and refined it. Boxy through the body, generous at the shoulder, hem at the hip-bone. Both pieces use it. You put it on and it sits. You sit down and it stays. You stand up and it falls back into shape. That is what cut is for.
