Outlives trends
A heavy garment, made properly, outlives whatever was fashionable the year you bought it. That is the whole game.

A boxy fit will not be the cut of the moment in three years. Neither will a slim fit. Neither will any fit. Trend cycles in clothing run about eighteen months. The garment that will still be in your wardrobe in 2031 is not the garment that won 2027.
The garment that lasts is the one made of cloth that holds, in a colour that does not date, in a shape that is more about the body than about the year. Heavy cotton. A boxy unfussy cut. A colour pulled from autumn rather than from a moodboard. Plain enough that nothing on it has to be defended in 2030.
We are not making clothes for next October. We are making clothes for the October after that, and the one after that. If we get it right, you will reach for the same hoodie in the cold weeks of 2032 and not think about who made it. That is the highest compliment.
